Then FS will open it in fullscreen mode instantly. Are you actually using Windows Explorer or are you talking about the built-in explorer inside Faststone? When I doubleclick a picture in the Windows Explorer, I don't know if that has any relevance to this discussion. NOTE: I just upgraded to a computer that has a solid-state-drive as its main drive. What really annoys me about it: it becomes unresponsive when you open a picture in folder that has lots of pictures in it. Sometimes I use its batch-processing features and to remove exif data from images. I using Faststone for quiet a while for quickly opening and browsing through pictures.
